<reviewbody>I watched this when I was 8. This was the best movie
ever made, rivaling Willie wonker. Alast things havechanged since the 1970`s when I saw it.

for kids it is fantastic, o.k. alittle dated
but good fun. For Adults what can one say< ow for
the good old days.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>The best version of this movie is when it is "mistied". There may be a DVD available that has the cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000 making fun of it.

I did always look forward to watching this on the smaller local tv stations when I was a kid. I would always seem to be on around 11 PM on, say a thursday, in June or September??</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I just bought this movie on dvd for $1. I work at WalMart and we got these movies for a buck. I was looking through them today when I came across the childhood favorite. I always looked forward to xmas and watch Tom "Popeye" Patton and his saturday movies in California. I still wasn't sure until I popped it in. And heard the theme song and saw the martians eat pills that tasted like food. It has brought some fond memories. Stop by walmart and pick it up.....</reviewbody>

It seems kind of touching to see grown-ups dressed up so ridiculously to entertain children.</reviewbody>

3 kids, 2 adult tickets - $3
Popcorn and Soda - $2
Grown-up Kid's family memories - Priceless.

Recomendation:
Gather the Kids around next Christmas Eve, break out the Popcorn and create some memories for the next generation.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This movie is so bad it's good. Actually that's probably not completely fair since I think younger children would enjoy this movie for the story. Adults, well if you're into movies that are fun to laugh at because they're considered "bad" then you'd enjoy it as well. It's a good clean family movie - no nudity, violence or strong language.

I had planned to burn this download to DVD so I could watch it without needing the computer on. But problems converting the format led me to buy the DVD at amazon.com for less than $2 (USD) new. It was well worth it. It'll become a Christmas time staple at my house!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>The best of the cheesy Christmas themed movies of all time will get a slap in the face once the remake comes out...and with my luck...it will be Tim Allen as Santa...and a RAZZIE win for worst remake or sequel as well as for worst actor...

The original brought back a lot of good memories...enough of them that I don't want them to screw things up any further with another load of actors who couldn't act their way out of a paper bag...</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>The film speaks for itself. I burn a DVD of this for friends who haven't seen it each year ... and yes, they're still my friends (grin). My personal opinion is that this film is targeted toward children and DOES in fact entertain them. And when you compare this film to the children's programming of today, I'd actually rate it higher than the crap networks pass off as entertainment.

Before going, however, I just wanted to mention two Star Trek connections to this film. After this film was in the can, director Nicholas Webster went on to other things ... among them was being the director for the popular television series, "In Search Of" ... which, as everyone knows, was hosted by Leonard Nimoy (Spock).

In addition, a man named Brett Webster (unsure if he was "related" to Nicholas Webster), an uncredited technical advisor in the film, followed Nicholas to "In Search Of" where he did cinemetography work. But Brett has a more direct connection to Star Trek. Three years after his work on "In Search Of," he was the assistant visual effects director for "Star Trek - The Motion Picture" (aka "Star Trek I").</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This is the worst film I have ever seen. I know some of the other reviews say that it is so bad that it is funny, but I cannot even say that much for it.
