<reviewbody>Autistici employs naturally occurring audio artefacts and ambient pads or textures to weave a stripped down obsession with sound - placing it in time and space in a manner that can be perceived as at once beautiful and disturbing.

These tracks demonstrate a willingness to operate on the boundaries of form and structure. Elements within the music are placed to evoke questions regarding intentionality. Rhythms develop out of seemingly organic sounds stuttering into motion. Deep ambient pads bring a warm coherence to the pieces. The wet sexual noises of ‘they move on me’ share something personal or something alien and voyeuristic. It is difficult to know what the intent is – both engrossing and uncomfortable. Autistici is the master of presenting co-exiting and contrasting emotionality.

These pieces illustrate sounds from a person who is in his/her own world. Sharing - sometimes connecting and sometimes operating in a state of narcissitic fantasy.</reviewbody>
