<reviews itemIdentifier="fighting_deputy"><review><reviewbody>Well…..This is really a fair to Midland show and I love these gunfights. I know that if you’re like me while being a part of a posse and a shootin’ at the bad guys you’d want to be in a good place so’s you’d have a better chance at shootin’ what you’re a shootin’ at. Kinda like Gun Control, bein’ able to hit what you’re aimin’ at heh, heh. I know I’d wanna be on a roof top, a top of a large boulder, behind a mesquite bush orrrr maybe in a clearing so’s I’d be able to see the bad guys a little better for shootin’ ‘em. Yup that’s where’d I wann be for sure.

This movie is kinda like that, you know, where the two lovers’ kinfolk get all shot up and at the end everyone is happy and a singin’ those purty songs to each other knowin’ they’s gonna be happy lovers for ever with no palimony, alimony and child support to have to pay ‘cause you is da man.

Good show though. I enjoyed it and if you are a true old time movie nutcase like I am you’ll love it too.

<review><reviewbody>Fighting Deputy is a pretty standard and tame western which has a high body count (3 at least) which is surprising for a movie such as this. Scar Adams (because, yes, he has a scar) is tearing the wild west apart! While the Sheriff is on the look-out for Scar and his gang, the Sheriff¡¯s son wants no part of his dad¡¯s job, that is, until Dad meets an unfortunate demise.. Oh no1 What is he to do!??
This film is okay I guess, somewhat dry and slow in some places, but Fred Scott is fun to watch in that dopey kind of way. Plus, he sings two ridiculous songs, while his girlfriend tries in vain to keep up with her air-guitaring.
Bonus points: Ricochet sound effects!</reviewbody>

<review><reviewbody>He indeed fights and is a deputy, and a good baritone; he sings two songs.
An odd moment that is glossed over; they find his fathers dead body at his wedding. How often does that happen? Actually the body is delivered, no postage due. It just struck me as really odd, not the body, the no postage due.
Comic relief Fuzzy is in this one. I like him, so watch it.</reviewbody>
